By invitation of the President of the Deutsche Bundesbank, Dr Jens Weidmann, and Executive Board member Carl-Ludwig Thiele, the Bundesbank hosted its second cash symposium on Monday, 19 May 2014, at the Hilton hotel in Frankfurt am Main.

Following in the tradition of the first cash symposium, the event featured talks and speeches by senior representatives of the banking industry and the public sector. The podium discussion was moderated by Philipp Otto (Zeitschrift für das gesamte Kreditwesen).
